The Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME), is a not-for-profit organization originally founded in 1985 in the United States and it is dedicated to helping companies with continuous improvement and their pursuit of excellence.  The AME-UK chapter was established in 2000.

Whether you are looking to learn about Lean manufacturing or one of the continuous improvement tools like Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Lean Supply Chain, Lean New Product Development, Lean Accounting, or Leadership of Lean transformation you've come to the right place.

The AME is practitioner based which means that our events and workshops are hands-on and taught by others who have “been there and done that” and want to share their experiences.

Click on the Events tab above for information on our networking visits, Training for educational opportunities or Membership to join the AME-UK.

All members receive the award-winning Target magazine.
